Prof. Dr. Joacim Rocklöv is a Humboldt Professor at the University of Heidelberg who applies ecological and data-science methods to understand how plastic pollution, climate change and antibiotic residues drive antimicrobial resistance in water systems. He leads the EU-funded TULIP project, which brings together scientists, policymakers and communities in Europe and the Philippines to co-develop early-warning tools and nature-based interventions against resistance spread.
